We know you have questions about our billing policy and we are attempting to help answer the more common questions below. Insurance billing is billing is done through an off-site billing company, Aim Software. Aim will charge your insurance company for treatment and transport that Tabernacle Rescue Squad (TRS) provides to you. The information you provide to us is only released to the billing agent, the Emergency Room and Staff directly involved in your care.
If you live in Tabernacle or Shamong Township and you call 911 for an emergency, A Tabernacle Rescue Squad ambulance is dispatched to you. We provide care and transportation to the most appropriate local hospital; the transportation and treatment will be charged to your insurance company. However, some critical emergencies may require a Virtua Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU), also known as paramedics. This service is provided by Virtua and will be a separate charge for advanced life support.
Regardless, if you have insurance or not, you will be treated and transported by the Tabernacle Rescue Squad. Your well-being is our primary concern and we never want you to hesitate to call 911 in case of an emergency. The residents of Tabernacle & Shamong will not receive a balance bill from TRS.
