Active EMS - Volunteer

What Do Active Volunteer Members Do?
Active Volunteer Members respond to emergency calls and provide high-quality pre-hospital care. Whether you’re already certified or looking to become an EMT, we’ll equip you with the skills and training you need to succeed.
Training Provided
We offer EMT training reimbursement program to help you become certified and ready to serve your community.
Commitment
Once certified, Active Volunteer Members are required to serve a minimum of 12 hours on duty per month. This ensures our team is always prepared to respond when emergencies arise.

Associate EMS - Volunteer

What Do Associate Volunteer Members Do?
Associate Members respond to emergency calls, providing essential pre-hospital care. This role is ideal for EMTs who want to stay involved in emergency services while balancing other commitments.
Commitment
- Serve a minimum of 6 hours on duty crew per month.
- Support the squad in its mission to provide exceptional emergency response.
Additional Details
- Associate Members are not eligible to hold office within the squad.
- They do not have voting privileges.

Cadet
Start Your Journey as a Cadet Member with Tabernacle Rescue Squad
Are you between the ages of 15 and 17 and interested in emergency medical services? Becoming a Cadet Member is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build valuable skills, and serve your community.
What Do Cadet Members Do?
Cadet Members respond to emergency calls (with parental permission) and focus on:
- Learning the role of the 911 system.
- Understanding basic anatomy and patient care.
- Developing communication skills for emergency scenarios.
- Applying medical care with basic equipment under supervision.
Training and Benefits
- EMT Training: Those interested in becoming EMTs can enroll in EMT reimbursement program provided by the Squad, eligible for college credits upon successful completion.

Special Operations
Join Tabernacle Rescue Squad as a Special Operations Member
Not interested in becoming an EMT but still want to make a difference? Special Operations Members play a vital role in our emergency response efforts without needing EMT certification.
What Do Special Operations Members Do?
Special Operations Members respond to a variety of emergency situations, including:
- Motor Vehicle Accidents
- Large Animal Rescues
- Emergency Services Rehabilitation Assignments
- Technical Rescues
- And more!
Training Provided
All necessary training is provided at no cost by the Tabernacle Rescue Squad. This ensures that you are well-prepared to assist in specialized operations safely and effectively.
Flexibility
Special Operations Members are not required to serve on duty crews or commit to specific hours. This role is perfect for those with a passion for helping others but need flexibility.

As a Special Operations Member, you’ll provide essential staffing for rescue, rehab, and other specialized apparatus, directly contributing to the safety and well-being of our community.
Per Diem EMT
The Tabernacle Rescue Squad has a proud tradition of providing exceptional pre-hospital care and emergency response services to our community. Our team is committed to saving lives, supporting neighbors, and working collaboratively with other first responders.
Position: Per Diem EMT
Responsibilities:
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency calls and deliver high-quality pre-hospital care to patients.
- Patient Assessment and Care: Evaluate patients’ conditions, administer lifesaving interventions, and transport patients safely to medical facilities.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with fire departments, police, and other emergency responders to ensure seamless teamwork.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and the care provided.
- Hours: Minimum 24 Hours Per Month
