Yesterday, while responding to a call, our Assistant Chief Cramer was surprised to turn around and find a familiar face — Former EMT and now Paramedic Shane McGowan.
Shane began his EMS journey with Tabernacle Rescue Squad in 2016 and served actively until 2020. Since then, he’s been pursuing his dream, becoming a paramedic and continuing to make a difference in the field.
We’re incredibly proud of Shane and all of our past and present members who have gone on to become doctors, nurses, and paramedics. TRS isn’t just a squad — it’s where EMS careers begin.
