2016 Horton/Ford BLS Equipped Ambulance
This unit carries Basic Life Support equipment, including portable and onboard oxygen systems, enough spinal immobilization equipment to treat several patients simultaneously, a full complement of bandaging and bleeding management equipment, including multiple military-grade tourniquets, child delivery kits, and more.
This unit is also equipped with a state-of-the-art Stryker Power Load System which combines a battery-powered stretcher with a loading system in the back of the ambulance. This allows patients to be lifted on the stretcher and into the unit without lifting by our providers. It greatly reduces the risk of injuries to our providers and also provides one of the safest systems for securing patients.
